I grew up in the vibrant city of Calgary, Alberta, and I've had the pleasure of being part of the Chin Whiskey team for the past 11 years. My passion for barbering ignited at a young age, and I take great joy in crafting haircuts that not only look fantastic but also empower my clients to feel their very best.
With over 25 years of experience in cutting both men's and women's hair, my primary focus is on helping aspiring barbers grow by sharing my knowledge and expertise. What I cherish most about barbering is the opportunity for precise, clean techniques and the connections I build with my clients—there’s nothing quite like sharing a laugh while creating a stunning new look.
One of my favorite vacation spots is Greece; its rich culture and delectable cuisine never fail to amaze me.
Looking ahead, I aspire to be known as someone who is always there for others, leaving a positive impact on the lives of my friends and family.

I grew up in Calgary and have been a barber since 2016. I joined the Chin Whiskey team in January 2023. My passion for hair began in childhood, and I enjoy connecting with clients to help them feel like their authentic selves.
In my free time, I appreciate the culinary scene in Calgary, with Anejos for tacos and The Nash for a rare steak being favorites. If I could cut anyone's hair, I would choose Billy Squier for his impressive hair.
My favorite vacation destination is Portugal, and I have a dog and two cats, though my cocker spaniel holds a special place in my heart. If I could have any superpower, I would choose the ability to fly.
WESLEY SENIOR BARBER
Originally from Calgary, Alberta, My journey into barbering was inspired by the confidence that comes from a great haircut, and I take pride in providing that experience to my clients.
When I'm not at the barbershop, I enjoy dining at various local establishments, with Pulcinella in Kensington being a standout favorite. If given the chance to cut anyone's hair, I would choose Keanu Reeves, not only for his iconic role in "John Wick" but also because he seems like a genuinely good person.
In my downtime, I indulge in Indomie Mi Goreng instant fried noodles, a guilty pleasure I highly recommend. While I appreciate both dogs and cats, I have a soft spot for cats. As a child, I aspired to be a comic book artist, and if I could have any superpower, it would be teleportation to simplify my daily commute.
ARTEM SENIOR BARBER
My name is Artem Mykhailiuk, and I have been working as a men’s barber for eight years.I am originally from Ukraine, and I arrived in Calgary three months ago from the state of Illinois.
I started working as a barber when I was 15. Over the past eight years, I have worked in Ukraine, Croatia, Poland, and the United States.
I was inspired to enter this profession by my older brother, who was studying men’s haircuts at the time. His passion sparked my interest, especially since the industry was just beginning to grow rapidly.
I liked the idea of becoming not just a hairdresser, but a specialized barber — someone who pays maximum attention to detail and style.
What I enjoy most about the barbering industry is the opportunity to grow and to make people look and feel better.
NOTE: We do ask you to be on time for your appointment as each Guest’s service is allotted a specific amount of time based on that service. Therefore running late impacts the next client and our barbers. We do understand that unplanned issues arise, so please inform as early as possible if late or unable to make it. If you are running 10 minutes late or more we will have to reschedule your appointment. Continuous no-shows and delays on appointments can lead to booking fees equivalent of 50% of the service or cancelation of any further appointment requests.
